Held at the South Metro TAFE Bentley campus and run by expert Fashion lecturers, this Fashion Business Taster gave Year 9 students an exciting introduction to fashion and merchandising. Students explored the fashion materials shop, visited the recycled clothing store (and even took home a few items!), toured the fashion classrooms, and watched an amazing end‑of‑term clothing competition by Diploma students.
They also created their own sustainable shop window displays using recycled fabrics, paper and haberdashery. The day finished with a photoshoot of their designs. Twelve students attended on the last day of term and had a fantastic day!
