Book a school tour
See what a real school day looks like
The best way to know whether Canning Vale College is right for your family is to come and experience it.
Our Principal will personally walk you through the campus, demonstrating our great facilities, explaining our excellent standard and specialist programs, and answering any questions you have.
Don’t just take it from us – you’ll hear from our student councillors about the CVC experience, too.
School tours run four times a year (once per term), starting at 9.00am from Reception and running for approximately an hour.
* All 2026 tours have been completed, but due to high demand, we are currently taking expressions of interest for an additional tour in Term 4. Please email us if you’d like to register your details.
Year 7 parent information evening and tour
Canning Vale College runs an annual parent information evening, including a campus tour, for families and students starting Year 7 the following year.
This is the chance to ask any questions and access our staff’s vast knowledge on how to make the transition as smooth as possible and support your child as they face the new challenge of high school.
The parent information night runs in first term – once the date is confirmed for 2027 (for students starting in 2028), you can find it on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as our website.
Once students are enrolled, there is an additional orientation night for parents in term four, ahead of starting at CVC.
Year 10 parent information evening
Moving to upper school is the next important part in the journey for students and their families, with more questions around future goals and pathways.
One of Canning Vale College’s strengths is the immense range of subject offerings and pathways available, with options to strive for a place at university, TAFE, to complete a certificate qualification at school, and to be workforce-ready.
We run a parent information evening in term two to help families of Year 10 students decode the different options available.
Students receive one-on-one personalised subject selection and course counselling sessions with an associate principal or specialised staff member before subject selection for Year 11, to help ensure they are on the right path to achieve their ambitions after graduation.
