During Term 4, students from both the Follow the Dream and Visual Arts Extension programs have been working with the Aboriginal Artist Erika Fernandez. This multistage project began with the students working with Erika to create their own artwork as they learnt about Aboriginal art and the use of symbols and stories in their work.
The students then worked on some larger pieces under Erika’s guidance. The imagery, stories and ideas from both groups will then be used to inform a larger scale piece for the Galileo building.
