On Monday June 23, our year 12 student councillors visited the Parliament house of Western Australia.
During their visit, they had a tour of Parliament House, got to sit in the speaker’s chair in the Lower House and the Presidents chair in the Upper House.
The day ended with lunch with Terry Healy, MLA, Member for Southern River. This gave our councillors the opportunity to ask Mr Healy some tough questions and raise any issues they had.
