Maya Filez’s Oil Painting ‘Hazy Morning’ was selected to be part of the City of Gosnells Local Youth Exhibition and Showcase held in January 2022.
The exhibition was part of a youth orientated event organised by City of Gosnells
to provide the youth in our area with events directed and made just for them.
Maya’s work received a certificate of recognition and a generous shopping
voucher for Jackson’s Art Supplies.
Maya’s work features a simple country road in the early hours of the morning,
inspired by the Australian Tonalists, a group of painters centred in Melbourne in
the 20th century.
