Over the course of the year three students from Canning Vale College have been taking part in an Aboriginal School Based Traineeship, in conjunction with students from Atwell College.
As part of their qualification students had to complete a project and they chose to create a garden comprising of Aboriginal Edible plants. Students had to prepare the garden beds including putting in the borders and then transplant the plants to their garden. They also painted signs for the plants. The garden beds can be found in the area between Plato and the basketball courts.
On Wednesday this week we held a congratulatory morning tea for these students who have now gained a Certificate I in Leadership.
