On Tuesday 10th August the Water Corporation attended CVC to deliver an incursion presentation to all Year 7 students. As a part of ‘water in the world’ students learnt about Perth’s water supply, where it is stored and how it is used. The presentation included demonstrations of the filtration system and how water is stored below Perth in limestone rock.
The 55 minute presentation ended with all students receiving a 4 minute shower timer to contribute to Perth’s water management strategy.
The event was enjoyable and engaged our students in the importance of water for the future of Perth and the world.
