Congratulations to Year 9 Declan Somers who was awarded a national silver medal at the Athletics Australia National Track and Field Championships held in Sydney over the April school holidays.
Declan placed 2nd in the Men’s U16 2000m steeple chase, placed 7th nationally in the 1500m final and 5th in the 3000m final.
Congratulations to Year 8 student Jordan Hamilton who also competed and placed 5th nationally in the Men’s U16 4x200m final.
