| Important admissions updates |
| We would like to update you on some recent changes to admissions criteria and application processes for 2025. English competency Firstly, English requirements have changed to allow any student who achieves an A grade in general English to meet English competency for Curtin. This is no longer restricted to Portfolio Entry. English requirements for Portfolio Entry have now been adjusted to a B grade in General English. For all information regarding English competency please refer to the English language requirements webpage. Portfolio Entry Secondly, students applying for Portfolio Entry will now no longer need to use a separate TISC code. When applying, all applicants will select the same TISC code for the course they are interested in and then indicate whether they intend to apply using Portfolio entry. For more information, please refer to the Portfolio entry webpage. Accepted Enabling Programs Finally, we are now accepting the Murdoch FlexiTrack High bridging program. If you have any students completing this course, they can now use this to meet Curtin’s minimum entry criteria (70 ATAR and English competency). New course starting Sem 1, 2025 Bachelor of Science (Paramedicine) Students wishing to become a paramedic can undertake our 3-year bachelor degree in paramedicine. They will be taught by experienced paramedics and will gain the fundamental knowledge and skills of out-of-hospital emergency care, including evidence-based clinical best practice, emergency and crisis management, and effective communication. Students will put these skills into practice through a range of clinical placements and simulation exercises preparing them for the diverse workload of a contemporary paramedic. Year 12 ATAR Economics Revision Conference Tickets are selling fast for the Year 12 ATAR Economics Revision Day on Tuesday 2 July!
