Congratulations to Keona (Year 10) who late last year was announced as one of ten students across WA selected for the 2024 Premier’s ANZAC Student Tour!
The Premier’s Anzac Student Tour is an annual competition open to all Western Australian students in Years 8 to 11. Students are selected as tour ambassadors following a written submission and interview, demonstrating their interest in Australian history and an understanding of the Anzac legacy.
Last week Keona attended a special ceremony where she was honoured with a certificate acknowledging her selection. Our Principal, Mr Freckelton and HASS teacher, Mrs Young were there to celebrate this significant milestone.
Keona will travel to Singapore next month as part of a 10-day tour to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the Fall of Singapore. What an AMAZING achievement!
