A huge round of applause to CVC student Ella Rigby, who was recently crowned winner of the TEDx Perth 30-Second Ideas for Change Competition!
Ella’s 30 second video titled, ‘Changing Our Youth Mental Health System – Saving Our Youngest Sufferers,’ delivered a powerful, raw message about how youth with mental health issues are managed in hospitals and institutions.
Ella was initially shortlisted as one of six finalists in the 14-21yrs TEDx competition, devoted to bringing ideas worth spreading to communities around the globe. Ella will now go on to produce a longer format TEDx talk which will be published on the official TEDx YouTube channel later this year.
