Our Year 7 FunFest was a vibrant and engaging day designed to help students build positive relationships, stay active, and demonstrate respect. In partnership with Act, Belong, Commit, the event brought together a wide range of activities that supported wellbeing, teamwork, and connection across the cohort.
Students participated in football and AFL games, Headspace wellbeing activities, Drumbeat sessions, wheelchair basketball, student councillor‑led challenges, tug of war, and a variety of arts and crafts experiences. A sausage sizzle added to the community atmosphere and provided an opportunity for students and staff to connect informally throughout the day.
The event fostered a strong sense of belonging and encouraged students to engage with one another in meaningful and enjoyable ways. It was a highly successful day that reflected our commitment to supporting student wellbeing and strengthening our school community.
