On Wednesday 22 October, the CADETs got out and planting some native plants in the school. They chose an area in the school that needed re greening, the area behind home economics near the bus stop out the front of the school.
CVC principal Mr Gurr even came and visited the students while they were setting up the plants ready to be dug in. A portable BBQ was set up so the students could refuel as they worked with some sausages in bread. A couple of nearby residents also stopped by to check out the students work!
