Year 9 Visual Arts Extension worked with Hayley Kruger, a WA botanical artist. Hayley worked with the students to develop their painting skills through creating their own botanical piece. The students had the opportunity to work through techniques of layering and glazing to build colour and create impact with their work. The students then had time after the workshop to complete and refine their painting.
The students did amazingly well, and their work show their growing capacity to utilise colour and technique to create stunningly rendered artworks.
