In week 5, CVC received an email about one of our students from a very impressed local….
“Good Evening Mr Healy MP and Mr Gurr Principal of Canning College,
I wanted to bring to your attention a local student Hayley Gruszecki from Canning Vale College who I witnessed collecting rubbish from the verges in the area of Harpenden Road, Southern River on 2nd March (Clean Up Australia Day 2025)
I stopped to commend Hayley, and her mother who was with her mentioned that Hayley has been doing this community service for the last five years.
I have attached a photo taken on the day for you to see.
