On Tuesday evening the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Perth held their annual Student Awards Event. Canning Vale College was proud to have three students nominated for their excellent results in 2023!
The Consul General, Ibu Listiana Operananta, spoke about the importance of the Australia-Indonesia relationship and congratulated all of the students in attendance for their continuing dedication to their language studies. As part of the event, CVC’s fabulous Language Assistant, Ibu Diva, performed the Nawung Sekar dance. Students participated in a quiz for a grand prize with one student in each year group category – Year 6, Year 8 and Year 10&11 – receiving an AirAsia flight.
Congratulations to Aiden Tay (Year 12), Aydan Rodrigues (Year 11) and Ramanuj Giridhar (Year 9) on their awards!
