As part of the transition from Year 6 to Year 7, 250 students from our local Primary Schools attended CVC this week for Orientation Day.
After a welcome from Mr Quirk, Associate Principal Student Engagement and Support, our incoming Year 7’s were split in to smaller groups and participated in a range of subjects throughout the day. They attended a special performance by our Junior Circus Troupe, a Q&A session with our Student Councillors and had plenty of fun during recess and lunch breaks, taking part in games of volleyball, tug-o-war, basketball, ping pong and soccer.
Thank you to our Student Councillors who did a fantastic job escorting students between classes throughout the day.
We look forward to welcoming our new students for their first day of Year 7 next year.
