Congratulations to our Year 9 Drama students who performed an adaptation of ‘Taming of the Shrew’ to an audience of family, friends and staff on Tuesday night.
The show, written by L.R Karcz is a simple yet hysterical show that sends thanks (and many apologies!) to William Shakespeare, complete with cowboys, a sheriff, outlaws and of course a touch of love. Set in the old American West, the stubborn and bossy Kate LaRue is driving everyone in town as crazy as a coyote with laryngitis.
Students have been preparing all term for this show, and also learning what is involved with Publicity and Marketing to design the poster for the show.
Thank you to all who came along to support our students. Some of our students had never performed before!
