On Thursday March 22, Year 11 Literature students attended a performance of The Crucible at the WA Academy of Performing Arts.

Arthur Miller’s famous play is a fictionalised version of the Salem Witch Trials and he also intended it to be seen as an allegory for the persecution of communists in 1950s America.

The Literature students enjoyed the experience of seeing live theatre and found it a great way to enhance their knowledge of their studied text.
