CVC Celebrates Harmony Day
Over the last week CVC has been promoting Harmony Week, an opportunity to celebrate our vibrant multicultural College.
Harmony Week runs from 15-21 March and is all about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values. It is a great way for students and staff to learn about and acknowledge the different cultural groups who make up our school community.
The following events have occured throughout the school:
- Year 7-9 students have been involved in special assemblies run by our Languages department.
- Staff have had their picture taken for a country of origin display, which students can view in the library. (pictured above)
- HASS students have been partaking in Harmony Day activites during class.
