Honours club

On Tuesday the 20th February, students received their certificates in recognition of gaining successful entry into our Honours Club for Semester 2/2017. The afternoon tea was attended by the 49 award recipients in Year 7-8 (in 2017), with over 72 parents also attending.

Honours Club is a celebration of our high achievers in Years 7-10, awarded after each reporting cycle (based on A grades achieved). Students need to acquire a minimum of 6 A grades, with at least two of these being attained in their MESH subject areas (i.e. Maths, English, HASS & Science) for admittance into Honours Club.

It is important to note that our formal Honours Club presentation is not only a celebration of the hard work and dedication of the award recipients, but also the teaching staff at CVC for supporting the curriculum development of these students. Well done to all CVC staff who have clearly made a difference in nurturing the academic pursuits of these students and to parents/guardians providing a supportive family environment that allows our students to aspire for academic excellence!

On Tuesday 27th February an Honours Club afternoon tea was held in celebration of our 2017 Year 9 and 10 students. 42 students received certificates in recognition of gaining successful entry in our Honours Club for Semester 2/2018.
