YEAR 11 & 12 COMMUNITY SERVICE STUDENTS HELP SPREAD HAPPINESS TO AGED CARE RESIDENTS
Over the last week Ms Hirschberg's Year 11 and 12 Certificate II Community Services students have been busy making cardboard flower arrangement for residents of the Meath Care - Michael Lee Centre aged care facility in Como.
With COVID-19 affecting visiting hours, many of the ladies in the care facility were unable to celebrate Mother's Day with their children this year. The activities coordinator at the home, who is friends with Ms Hirschberg wanted to spread some cheer by making the flower arrangements. Thank you to our Community Services students who assisted in creating enough of these beautiful arrangements for all the women at the home.
A lovely gesture and act of community service for our students to be involved in.
