Kottage Ramudhi

Congratulations to Year 12 student and 2019 College Captain Ramudhi Kottage who has been awarded a 2020 John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship (JCUS).

The JCUS is awarded to academically talented students who have excelled in a wide range of endeavours, and have lent their talents and energies to the community around them.

The scholarship is one that will allow Ramudhi to gain experience in a wide range of areas throughout her degree. The scholarship requires Ramudhi to be involved in on-going community service and is awarded especially to those who have current and potential leadership abilities. The benefits that she will receive from this scholarship are:

  • The cost of her undergraduate degree
  • Payment of $1,000 per semester to be used at her discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses
  • One-off payment of $6,000 towards an approved international experience
  • Allocated current JCUS scholar mentor throughout the course of her degree
  • Leadership and community service opportunities

We are absolutely thrilled as it is the most prestigious scholarship offered by Curtin University for future students commencing their degree. Only a maximum of 10 students are awarded this scholarship within Australia.
