Yr 10 & 11 Creative Industries Professional Practice
Our Year 10 and 11 Creative Industries students have been given the opportunity to engage in professional on the job learning as part of their course this year.
Students hoping to continue on to future training post high school, such as TAFE or WAAPA placements, to begin a career in the performing arts need to present portfolios of work experience in the performing arts fields in order to stand out enough to gain a place in these highly coveted courses.
Canning Vale College is working very hard to provide our students with an interest in a career in the performing arts with as much experience as possible to put them at the front of the pack.
The professional practice offered in 2018 has already seen amazing results with our Creative Industries students in all areas of the performing arts including Lighting, Back Stage, Arts Management, and on stage opportunities. Our students have taken up these opportunities with enthusiasm and really excelled in this high pressure exciting field of study.
CVC is already sourcing further opportunities for advancement in this field for students in Creative Industries courses for 2019.
