2018 Yr12 Circus AchievementsClockwise from left: Leighton Beanland, Emani Montgomery & Joshua Norwell

It’s wonderful to hear good news stories of our Year 12’s following their dreams, and for 3 lucky CVC students from The Act Belong Commit CVC Circus Troupe this is just the case!

The amazingly talented Joshua Norwell has made it through round 1 and been given the opportunity to audition for The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA). We hear Josh’s audition went really well and we are just waiting to see if he is accepted. If all goes well, Joshua will be off to study to be a Professional Circus Artist in Melbourne next year!

Big congratulations to Emani Montgomery, who’s circus teaching skills have been recognised and rewarded with a job position at Cirquest Circus School. Emani has a natural talent for kinaesthetic learning with young children and we hope this position will allow him to excel in this area.

And lastly, a massive hooray for Leighton Beanland who has secured himself a teaching and performing position with Joseph Aston Circus. Leighton has always been an incredible stage presence and we can’t wait to see him grace the Joseph Aston Stage with his hilarious brand of circus antics.
