Emma Pearcey and Kya Bitmead to Represent Australia In U.S Cheer/Dance World Championships

Over the weekend of November 4th CVC students Emma Pearcey (Year 10) and Kya Bitmead (Year 10) were fortunate enough to be part of a WA based dance team that won a bid to represent Australia at the United States All Star Federation (USASF) Cheerleading & Dance World Championships to be held in Orlando Florida in April 2019.
Emma, Kya and their Peppermint Dance Company team 'Renaissance' won the bid in the section of open all girl contemporary/lyrical elite.
USASF and International All Star Federation member event producers across the U.S. and in over 40 countries around the world qualify top teams at their premier national championships to compete at The World Championships.
The annual international event will bring together more than 11,000 cheer and 4,000 dance athletes to vie for world champion titles in senior and international club divisions and categories.
