Throughout Week 10 the CVC Library celebrated Banned Books Week.

Every September, worldwide, libraries, schools, and bookstores celebrate the right to read during Banned Books Week.

At its heart, Banned Books Week is a celebration of the freedom to access ideas, a fundamental right that belongs to everyone and over which no one person should hold sway. We, at CVC Library do not believe in censorship of books and the ideas within.

Students were invited to enter into a competition to guess the Title and Author of a shredded banned book, and view the photo display to guess which CVC staff member had been caught reading a banned book.
