DESCRIPTION:You may say “one can’t believe impossible things.” Yet if that’s the case perhaps “you haven’t had much practice\, when I was your age\, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why\, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” \nSix Impossible Things is a show that takes a trip inspired by Alice in Wonderland. \nWatch as the performers disappear down the rabbit hole into a dream circus that gets “curiouser and curiouser!” Follow our Alice as she gets lost in a sea of strange and impossible things as she searches for the Ringmaster who has taken something very precious to her. \nThe Act Belong Commit Canning Vale College Circus Troupe is an award winning volunteer youth performance troupe from Canning Vale College who create stage shows for community performances\, primary schools and charity events. DESCRIPTION:Year 10 Drama students will perform “Model Students” by Kendra Thomas\, Somewhere in the not-too-distant future\, there’s a warehouse storing the stereotypical models of all humanity.  When everything goes according to programming\, these models ideally carry out their functions and follow the storyline that’s been written for them.  But as it is with humankind\, student models can be most volatile — prone to stubborn bouts of independence countered with sometimes surprisingly rational behaviour. DESCRIPTION:All Year 10 parents/guardians are invited to the CVC Course Counselling Information Night\, to be held \nTuesday 25th May 6pm – 8pm\nin lower Socrates (entrance via Dumbarton Road) \nThe purpose of the evening is to provide information to Year 10 students transitioning into Year 11 in 2022. \nStaff will be presenting information on courses offered by their department in Year 11 and 12. There will also be information on the Western Australian Certificate of Education\, Certificates delivered both at school and externally and the application process along with a demonstration of how to use Subject Selection Online to select subjects for 2022. \nParents will be emailed the schedule of the sessions and the link for booking into the sessions next week.
