DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 23rd June\, CVC is hosting its annual Careers Expo. This event will take place from 3:00pm in the Galileo Building (entry and parking via Boardman Road). The format will be \n\n3:00-5:30pm General Expo (tables where students/parents can talk with providers)\n5:45-6.30pm Each of the Universities will be giving short presentations in the Amphitheatre for all to attend.\n\nOur Careers Expo is an opportunity for our student and parent community to further investigate university\, TAFE\, further education/training and industry options for post schooling and to assist in career development. Similar to the Careers Expo at the exhibition centre\, this is a great opportunity for students in all years to gain access to further information and ask questions to those associated in those fields. This year we have a huge list of organisations confirmed to attend\, including: \n\nMurdoch University\nEdith Cowan University\nCurtin University\nNotre Dame University\nUWA\nSouth Metro TAFE\nFremantle Education Centre\nNational Disability Services\nKFC\nApprenticeship Support Australia\nMPA – Plumbing and Painting Pre Apprenticeships\nWestern Australian Aviation College\nWorkpower\nAustralian Institute of Fitness\nTactic Learning\nWA Academy – Hair\, Beauty\, Makeup\, Nails & Business\nMcDonalds\nACTIV Disability Support Services\nInternational Institute of Business Technology\nSkillHire\nElectrical Group Training and College of Electrical Training\nMount Pleasant College\nThe Australian Brick & Blocklaying Training Foundation (ABBTF)\nAIWT – Australia International Institute of Workplace Training\nConstruction Training Fund\nSchool Leavers Information Service – National Careers Institute\nWA Surveyors\nCBH Group\n\nFor further details please see the VET office in Galileo.
